German carmaker Volkswagen presented the new generation coupe version of the Beetle in April 2011 at an automobile exhibition in New York. While everyone waits for a convertible version of a couple of months.
However, the Germans decided to make everyone wait a little longer, intending to provide a convertible in the coming year. Future convertible borrow design features of the model coupe, except, of course, the prevailing roof. The car will be bolder, more dynamic and generally will be designed for the male audience.
The new design can be seen in the front bumper, air ducts, lines of the bonnet. Range of engines as the coupe will borrow, which includes gasoline and diesel with a power range from 138 to 197 horsepower. A couple of engines will be six-speed manual or DSG-transmission.
