Swedish carmaker Volvo has recently published the first teaser image of its new five-door hatchback, which the company predicts a competitor BMW 1-Series and Audi A3.
Up to this point the prototype that was spotted undergoing test trials in severe winter conditions, was known as V30, but after publishing a picture executive director of Volvo, Stefan Jacoby, said that the car will officially be called V40.
Jacobi also said that the V40 will replace him are two models: S40 and V50. Alone is not clear: the company will deal with C30, whether it will be replaced or permanently removed from the line, because some time ago, Jacoby announced that the new car to replace him some models. Volvo V40 car will be a smaller version of V60, so you can expect the same grille, slightly sloping roof and distinctive headlights.
