2011 Nissan Note is a mini MPV manufactured by Nissan Motors. In Japan, the Note has been on sale since 2004. This series was first introduced in Europe in 2006. The United Kingdom was the first European country to launch this series. The Nissan Note is designed to compete with other mini MVPs such as the Opel Meriva, Citroën C3 Picasso, and Renault Modus. In the UK, this series is considered to be the indirect successor of the Nissan Almera hatchback which ended production in the end of 2006. The European version of the Nissan Note is available in 5 models, namely Visia, Visia+, Acenta, Acenta S, and Tekna.
