Mazda company has published photos of the upcoming 2012 MX-5 Miata Special Edition, which will debut at the Auto Show in Chicago. Although the photographs you see right-hand drive version, the Japanese manufacturer will release a Left Hand Drive and the analogue for the U.S. market.
The MX-5 Miata Special Edition gets a hard roof black, 17-inch alloy wheels, as well as many other minor changes, such as mirrors. Inside you will find a black leather heated seats, and other "goodies" that make the model as compared with the exclusive brethren. By the way, we must mention that the planned release of 450 units Miata Special Edition, which undoubtedly inflame an interest in it.
Under the hood is a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine with a capacity of 167 horsepower and 213 Nm of torque. It works in conjunction with six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission Sport. Price is not yet known.
