The new season promises to be a DTM series as exciting. A new silhouettes of cars, which are taken as a basis for premium coupe, all eyes will delight fans of motor racing.
Racing Audi A5 DTM, built on the basis of a new generation of the popular civic coupe, it looks simply delicious. The huge front splitter and rear wing as the new form should provide the maximum amount of downforce required. Due to the updated regulations, which introduces a new, wider tires, much heard the wheel arches, sills and got new holes to optimize the flow of air. All the same car will be built around a carbon fiber monocoque, surrounded by a safety cage.
As the main driving force will use the same engine that was mounted on the A4, which chases in the series now. V-shaped "figure eight" develops 454 horsepower, and to the rear drive wheels all the power and torque will be delivered via a sequential 6-speed box.
According to the head unit Audi Sport Dr. Wolfgang Ulrich, the new A5 DTM the car, which will be able to keep winning tradition of the series DTM.
