Speculation about the release of their first BMW diesel M does not cease. Last week, BMW has confirmed the company's interest in this model.
Internal sources have reported that BMW is developing a modified version of the 3.0-liter 6-cylinder straight engine with triple turbo 500 "horses" and 812 Nm of torque. The new engine will be installed on versions of the M 5-Series and X6 crossover.
The prototype BMW X6 M with a modified hood, had come under the scope spy camera. Presumably, this is a high-performance diesel version of the crossover.
