BMW 6-Series Individual & M-Package
BMW has officially unveiled the 6-Series Individual and 6-Series M-package.
First up, the Individual has "exclusive paint finishes," unique alloy wheels, bespoke wood trim and premium leather upholstery.
On the other hand, the M-package features an aerodynamic body kit (with modified fascias and revised side skirts), LED fog lights and 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside, there's revised trim, leather/Alcantara sports seats and an M steering wheel.
BMW has also announced plans to offer a new 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel with TwinPower Turbo technology. It produces 313 PS (230 kW / 308 hp) and 630 Nm (464 lb-ft) of torque, which enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds (5.6 seconds for the convertible). In terms of efficiency, coupe owners can expect to average 5.4-5.5 L/100km (51.4-52.3 mpg imp) with CO2 emissions of 143-145 g/km. Likewise, the convertible has an average fuel consumption of 5.6-5.7 L/100km (49.6-50.4 mpg imp) and CO2 emissions of 147-149 g/km.
Lastly, the company will offer xDrive (all-wheel drive) on the 650i coupe and convertible. Boasting a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine with 407 PS (300 kW / 401 hp) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque, the coupe runs from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds while the convertible takes a tenth of a second longer.
All the aforementioned variants will be available this fall but, in the meantime, check out the press release for additional information. Top avto 2012
