The American company General Motors presented a model car, designed exclusively for the Chinese market. Car called Baojun 630 will be sold in China at prices ranging from 10 to 15 thousand dollars. GM showed a new car in the opening day of the Shanghai Motor Show. Baojun 630, equipped polutoralitrovym engine, introduced the visitors to personally manage the Chinese branch of the American company, GM China, Kevin Vail.
Translated from the Chinese, the name of the new car translates roughly as "the horse, which valued." This model car Concern GM, whose leaders know where to invest money, plans to produce in collaboration with local automaker Corporation SAIC. Producers are hoping that this car is seriously interested in China's middle class.
Production Baojun 630 will begin in late April 2011. The first cars will be sold through a retail network of nearly 150 vendors, however, by the end of this year, the number of dealers new items at least double. General Motors is considering production of exclusively "Chinese" vehicle Baojun 630 as a major step towards the conquest of a huge automobile market of China. A cheap car is just the first sign, followed by the development and production of future models of the new brand.
But Americans are not alone in its desire to enter the Chinese auto market. Similar thoughts are and the leadership of the German automaker Volkswagen. Earlier this year the German company announced its intentions to develop a new car exclusively for the needs of the Chinese. Back in 2009, China overtook the U.S. in terms of sales of cars and, since then, is the world's largest car market. The country is experiencing a real boom in the car: production of new cars are constantly increasing, as the foreign exchange market forex, with each car produced in China will certainly be sold. According to representatives of Volkswagen, had they now able to produce many more cars, profit of the group would clearly increased significantly. At this point, most cars among foreign manufacturers in the Chinese market it sells GM, and if Baojun 630 lived up to its promise, the Americans will have the opportunity to further strengthen its leading position in China.
