The Japanese company Daihatsu, whose majority shares are owned by Toyota, has released a new version of the Kei-car Mira, which is called e: S. Through the use of innovative technologies have improved efficiency indicators of the car.
Experts Daihatsu put in order the engine, transmission and body of the car, which has helped nearly 40% reduction in fuel consumption. The new Mira e: S equipped with a 3-cylinder 0.65-liter gasoline engine producing 51 hp (at 6800 rev / min.) and torque of 60 Nm (at 5200 rev / min.).
According to the manufacturer, Mira e: S on average consumes only a liter of gasoline per 30 km of track.
In Japan, the Daihatsu Mira e: S will be offered at a price of up to 800 000 yen (about 10 $ 450).
