Conceptual shoustopper, developed by Ford, has several objectives. In this Evos will never be on public roads.
First of all, kotseptkar which is a 2-door coupe, to encourage designers to show the movement of a single, global design. In this case, the main focus when designing the car was chosen concept «Kinetic», which is more characteristic of the European division of vehicles Ford. This is the one of the main objectives for creating Evos.
One more revolutionary innovations are hidden in the car. In particular, the machine will be equipped with systems that allow the driver to watch the same television programs and listen to the same music to which he was accustomed to at home. Also, a special system via the Internet Evos can control some functions of a home of its owner, such as remotely opening and closing garage doors, turn on and turn off the light when the owner leaves.
Shoustopper turned out rather impressive size. Machine length reaches 4.5 m, height 1.34 meters, width 1.95 meters, with a wheelbase of 2.74 meters. With such dimensions it is not surprising that Ford engineers were able to knead in a hybrid power plant, which will change their modes of operation based on driving style. For example, the car can travel solely on electric or gasoline powered, and under certain conditions the two systems can work together. Such a power plant to allow travel on one tank of fuel and fully charged battery up to 500 kilometers.
Some of the designs, and perhaps technical developments will be used in next generation models of Mondeo, Fusion and MKZ. Official presentation of the car will take place at the Motor Show in Frankfurt, which starts Sept. 13.
