According to a newsletter sent out by the organizers of the Auto Show in New York, Kia will be updated hatchback Soul.
In addition to minor changes the front panel are LED running lights and an improved transmission.
Soul definitely benefit by adding a new gearbox with six speeds (it is planned to be a mechanical or automatic gearbox). According to Kia, this means that in 2012, Soul will overcome almost 35 miles per gallon on the highway.
And it's great to improve fuel economy, compared with the usual 24 miles per gallon city and 30 on the highway with the 2.0-liter engine and five-speed gearbox.
