Lotus to build the fastest British supercar
Lotus company is preparing to debut the fastest supercar, developed in the UK. According to the publication AutoExpress head of technical department marks Wolf Zimmermann, a British producer will build a stripped down version of the next generation model of Esprit, which would surpass the speed of its competitors - McLaren, Aston Martin and Bentley. It is assumed that from zero to 96 miles per hour lightweight Lotus Esprit will be able to accelerate in less than three seconds. Its top speed is about 340 kilometers per hour.
