Mercedes has unveiled the GL Grand Edition, ahead of its launch later this year.
Designed to be the last hurrah for the current model, the Grand Edition is distinguished by a new front fascia with a prominent grille, tinted headlights and LED daytime running lights. Other highlights include special badging, aluminum running boards and exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin is luxuriously appointed with two-tone leather seats, black ash trim, and stainless steel pedals.
Under the hood, four engines will be available. The 350 BlueTEC produces 155 kW (211 PS / 208 hp) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque, while the 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY develops 195 kW (265 PS / 262 hp) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque. On the petrol side, there's a 4.6-liter V8 with 250 kW (340 PS / 335 hp) and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) of torque as well as a 5.5-liter V8 with 285 kW (388 PS / 382 hp) and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque.
