New spy shots of the successor to the Peugeot 308 have appeared on the Internet. The car is currently being extensively tested and should enter the market in 2013. New platform will get tighter as the Citroen DS4, and the choice of the manufacturer will offer a wide range of powertrains.
It is expected that we will see a whole new range of petrol and diesel engines, among which are 3-cylinder engines. We also know that the market Peugeot 301 first arrive in the form of a 5-door model, but a little later we will see the version with 3 doors. Perhaps only then will release a Peugeot 301 hatchback, 301 CC (Coupe Cabriolet) and, probably, RCZ version.
By tradition, the 308th replacement model was to get the index of 309, but since the French have produced a model with the same name between 1985 and 1993, and it was not particularly successful, we decided to use the name for a new car Peugeot 301 that used in 1936.
