In September, the Korean SsangYong in Britain returns to the market with a new crossover called the Korando, who is not related to its predecessors.
Newbie worth 16,995 pounds ($ 26,676) will compete with Hyundai ix35, Kia Sportage, Mitsubishi ASX and Nissan Qashqai. Korando is a serial version of the C200 Aero Concept 2009, developed by the studio ItalDesign Giorgetto Giugiaro.
Under the hood is installed Korando 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine with 175 horses and 360 lb.-ft. of torque, emissions of which are 157 grams per kilometer. The car will be available in front-wheel-drive versions and with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
SsangYong Korando appears in three trim levels: S, ES and EX. The basic package will include ESP, assistant ascent and descent, cruise control and parking system.
