P1800 - certainly the most sports car brand Volvo, whose assembly has established a UK company Jensen Motors, before production was moved to Sweden (1963). This year, the coupe is celebrating its 50th anniversary and to celebrate this event, the chief designer of the Swedish company and a passionate fan of the P1800, Christopher Benjamin (Christopher Benjamin), showed a modern version of the famous model.
Benjamin presented the forms and lines of the original coupe P1800 in the language of contemporary design, which now should be the brand Volvo. An example may serve as a sedan Concept You, at the Frankfurt Motor Show presented in September this year.
The result of the designer's work can be seen in the photo below. While Volvo has no plans to develop a successor P1800.
