Today, Volvo has released an official image of a compact hatchback next generation. Because the Swedish car maker had made no official statements, we have virtually no information about this model. However, as reported by Dutch Autoblog resource quoting the head of Volvo Stefan Jacoby (Stefan Jacoby), 5-door model will be called V40 (not V30, as previously assumed), and the world premiere of the car will be held at the Geneva Motor Show in March next year.
Hatchback Volvo V40, which will compete with five-door BMW 1-Series and Audi A3 Sportback, will serve as a basis for the three-door model C30 you next generation. It is expected that both models, the C30 and V40, will be offered with a new series of 4-cylinder diesel and gasoline engines, using the latest technology in the systems of direct fuel and turbocharging.
