Volvo XC70 and S80 will be renovated in 2012
Outside the car changes the Volvo S80 and XC70 are not immediately noticeable.
Lights have been changed, S80 was equipped with LED turn signals in side mirrors, and both models have developed a new color. However, within the Volvo have been big changes.
Information System Volvo Sensus, which was introduced in the S60 in 2011, has been applied in these two models, allowing the driver to easily control audio, video, Bluetooth and navigation controls. The system also provides information about security, we already know City Safety (laser technology of automatic braking in case of emergency), cruise control and braking system, Collision Warning.
In addition to built-in City Safety, the manufacturer added a pedestrian detection function which emits sound a warning when danger of collision. If the driver is not able to respond to the alert, S80 and XC70 will be automatically engaged brake.
